Hot Copy is an all original 4 piece band hailing from Rochester, NY. Comprised of seasoned players, Hot Copy is the re-imagined continuation of a musical project started in 2003, when lead singer Art Fraser and bass player Aaron Williams founded former Rochester, NY favorite; Sleeping Giant & The Word Of The Day. Disbanding in 2009, the musical catalog sat in storage until 2023 when Art connected with drummer Erik Morrill. Williams re-joined the project in 2024 along with new addition, lead guitar player and producer Joe Costanza. This combination has proven to be acollaborative force putting fresh new takes on the existing catalog in addition to creating exciting new works. Featuring a self described “groove, rock, reggae” style, Hot Copy combines inspirations from many classic genres into an in your face, lyrically driven, yet melodically heavy musical experience. With a focus on creating original art, and a spirited perspective about the ever changing world around us, Hot Copy is a musical experience for the modern forward thinking mind. Releasing new singles in 2025 and 2026, Hot Copy is currently recording and releasing new music throughout the year, and booking summer shows.
